Mark Cuban: Disruptive innovation and Investing for Growth

Mark Cuban was the first person to live tweet a TV show as a Shark Tank "Shark" in 2011. Since then, he's been a major star on Shark Tank and an investor in a growing number of small businesses. Cuban, in addition to Shark Tank's acquisition of the Dallas Mavericks, in 2000 oversaw their participation in the first NBA Finals, which was held in 2006. They were also the NBA World Champions in 2011. They are listed as one Forbes' most valuable sports franchises.

Mark's keynote presentation on September 14th, Disruptive innovation and Investing for Growth will be hosted by Robert Alvarez, BigCommerce's Chief Financial Officer. This session will discuss Mark's entrepreneurial journey and shifting customer expectations, as well as the steps involved in building a successful business.

Mary Ellen Coe, Bill Ready, Google: Harnessing AI to Sell More

Mary Ellen Coe, President of Google Customer Solutions oversees the global advertising business for small and mid-sized businesses. She serves millions of customers worldwide and has thousands of partners. Her team assists businesses in getting online and growing, as well acquisition of new customers for Google Ads or YouTube channel partners. Before joining Google in 2012 she was a Partner at McKinsey & Company, where she managed North American Consumer Marketing and Sales. Prior to joining Google, she spent 11 years in brand strategy and marketing. This helped leading brands expand their global reach. She currently lives in Los Altos Hills with her husband, and their two daughters.

Bill Ready, Google's President for Commerce, is responsible to lead the vision, strategy, and delivery of its products in commerce. Bill Ready was previously the Chief Operating Officer at PayPal responsible for product and technology engineering. In 2013, he joined PayPal to help with the acquisition Braintree. He and his team built one of the most influential and innovative startups in the payment industry. Braintree created industry-leading payment solutions for businesses such as Uber, Airbnb, Houzz, and HotelTonight.

He is a veteran of the payments industry and was the president of iPay Technologies from 2008 to 2010. He led the company through a period with rapid earnings and revenue growth, and then sold it to Jack Henry & Associates. McKinsey & Company also employed him as a strategy consultant. He was also an engineer at emphesys, which merged with Humana in 2001, and Netzee (IPO Nov 1999). Bill has a Harvard Business School MBA, where he was an honors winner, and a Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems Finance from the University of Louisville.
